Die-cutting
The first in Italy to develop soft creasing, fundamental for automatic packaging.
Traditional die-cutting has no secret for Cristina. Moreover, new market requests have goaded our remarkable spirit for research, leading us to invest – in 1984 – in one of the first high frequency die-cutting machines. Today, test after test, crease after crease, we are able to offer a highly performing product.
At Cristina, the traditional die-cutting method uses a heated plate, while high frequency die-cutting is based on electricity running through the cutter-die blades thus obtaining the soft crease, needed by companies that use automatic packaging machines. The transparent sheets are conveyed by an automated system with suction-cups which adhere to the material with extreme care so as to avoid scratches or marks.
