Cristina has obtained the BRC-IoP Issue 3 and the ISO 9001:2008 Certifications

Back

The BRC-IoP standard, developed by the British Retail Consortium & Institute of Packaging, guarantees food packaging safety through the application of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) methodology, a system that analyses the possible areas of contamination (bacteriological, chemical, foreign matter, etc.) throughout each phase of the production process, determining then various containment measures to zero all risks or to keep them below the maximum allowed limits, through constant process monitoring. In addition to the adoption of the formal risk analysis system (HACCP), the BRC-IoP standard also requires the adoption of a documented technical management system as well as a system for the control of the production environment, of the product, of the processes, and of the workforce.

The certification attests that Cristina rigorously meets the hygienic requirements for the company’s environment, for its personnel and for anything and everything that might contaminate the packaging and consequently the product contained therein. A result achieved after more than two years of investment in personnel training and in the adaptation of the production site.

Cristina is the first company in Italy to have obtained the ISO 9001:2008 certification which attests that the company is capable of managing the activities of a certain organisation through the identification and control of the relative processes and iterations in a methodical and organic way.
